Josh did an excellent job restoring original doors in our house. He removed unsightly locks and sanded them down. The doors now look as if the locks were never there. So, I’m not much for “handymen”. Let’s face it, what guy doesn’t think they are handy? So while my hopes were for someone who was closer to a finish carpenter than, say, Ikea assembly (not that the latter isn’t a killer), I really didn’t know what I was gonna get with Josh. Surprise. Skilled, pleasant, cares about doing things well (as an example, he pushed back on one of my ideas of marking and cutting multiple panels at the same time, because he thought it would reduce our quality).
